Wishes
We went to Luray Caverns today. Noah told Joseph about the wishing well that is in the caverns and the kid was waiting the whole time for it.
We get there and the wishing begins… Noah told him he should wish for something for someone else. So he bargains with Noah that he’ll wish for him if Noah wishes for Joseph. So, the wish list…For as many pennies as I had went like this:
- a truck for daddy (Noah’s got him brainwashed that we need one just because he wants this incredibly ridiculous vehicle…guess you can tell what my opinion of it is!)-sweet kid used his first wish for his daddy’s dream
- something juicy
- a dollar
- lots more pennies
- a carousel made of wood
- a sign for the carousel that says only we can use it and other people can also
- a chain to hang the sign
That’s Happy
Apparently Joseph has been hanging out with some 80 year olds…
“Joseph, how are you doing over there?” (he was eating some applesauce)
“Oh, I’m happy! Happy as a lark!”
I’m not doing anything…
I’m sitting in Maddie’s room and Joseph runs by clutching something. Into his room he goes; door locks. Silence. He emerges, runs by…same thing.
“Joseph? What are you doing?”
“I’m not doing anything!” he calls, coming out of his room, hands behind his back.
“What do you have?”
“Nothing. I mean just a door stop.” he shows it.
“What are you doing with it?”
“Oh, just stopping doors.”
“Oh. Hm. Ok.”
